The fashion retailer has introduced a unisex look that has enough structure to work on a man, as well as enough flexibility and feminity to appeal to a woman.
The company’s unisex stretch chambray pant is a fine example. Described by American Apparel as a “comfortable, casual travel pant,” we think it is versatile and casual, with a hint of seriousness.
It is flexible enough to rock to work for business Monday, if paired with the right blouse and blazer, laid back enough for casual Friday, and low key enough for a weekend picnic.
